City of Groton Good Neighbor Award
About the Award
After a long winter marked by record-breaking snowfall, freezing temperatures, and more shoveling than anyone signed up for, the City of Groton wants to recognize the neighbors who have stepped up when it mattered most.
The City of Groton Good Neighbor Award honors residents who have gone above and beyond during this challenging season — clearing driveways, checking in on others, helping with errands, sharing resources, or simply being the steady, reliable presence every street hopes for. The City is proud to recognize residents who go above and beyond to strengthen our community. We will recognize individuals who consistently demonstrate kindness, service, and a genuine commitment to helping those around them.
This recognition celebrates everyday leadership — the neighbor who checks in, lends a hand, shows up, and makes Groton a better place simply by being part of it.
